Chromatic Yoga is a system and methodology that doesn't force you to change your style, but it instead provides you with the tools that will enhance and sharpen your skills. Together, as a global community, Chromatic Teachers aim to share the highest level of education providing students with greater success on their yoga path. This training will amplify your skills as a yoga teacher, boost your confidence, and bring you to a higher level.

Chromatic Yoga is a systematic, step by step approach to yoga that emphasizes a unique "how to" methodology for the Asana practice as well as the philosophical and heart-mind side that yoga has to offer. The teaching skills you will learn in this training include Anatomy, Bio-Mechanics, Non-dogmatic Alignment (options based on intention), Masterful Verbal Cuing, Tone Of Voice "Elements of Voice", Community Building, Marketing (Social Media Strategy and Implementation, Sell Out Workshops, Retreats, Courses, Trainings.), and much more.

Beyond all that you will gain as a teacher, you will also become a part of something much bigger. Instead of being out there all by yourself as a teacher, you will gain the power of the collective. As a global community we are expanding together, as each of us grow, the whole community of practitioners world wide grows, making it easier to sell out your classes, teach at bigger events, expand your reach both online and in person.

FORMAT

7 hour Online Pre-Training Course & 43 Hour In Person Training

The online pre-course is currently being filmed and designed. I (Matt Giordano), have been talking to Chromatic Certified Teachers, and other teachers about the challenges of taking the next steps as a teacher. How do you get from being the lone yoga teacher, in the daily class grind, to being someone that stands out and can make a thriving career out of teaching? That is exactly what the pre-training and 45 hour in person will provide for you. I cannot wait to share this experience together. The Online Training will begin mid January 2027, in the weeks leading up to the in person course.

200/300/500 Hour Trainings: Make your online training into a hybrid training. If you are taking one of the teacher trainings on theyogimatt.com you will be able to utilize these hours as your necessary "synchronous hours." More details coming soon. 

WHAT IS CHROMATIC YOGA?

Chromatic yoga is a system that enhances the modern postural based yoga practice known as "Asana". It is centered around 3 core values; Intention, Action and Awareness.

Intention provides context and clarity for action, and awareness provides reflection upon the results of our actions. Together Intention and Awareness provide the necessary pillars that enhance the efficacy of our actions.

Chromatic Yoga utilizes a step by step methodology making the postures and teachings of yoga more accessible. 

The Chromatic System is designed to deliver the most efficient path toward physical mastery within the context of the asana practice, and provide practitioners with tools and skills for greater mental fortitude and connection to their heart.

Chromatic Yoga does not preach dogmatic alignment or philosophy; it is instead the educational system that allows each teacher to share more skillfully from their authentic perspective, and allows students to gravitate towards the teachers that align with their core values.

THE SYSTEM

Every form of education from scholarly endeavors to something as simple as an instruction manual follows systems. However with yoga, because it is centered around cultivating an experience and a "vibe" there tends to be a the missing component of step by step education. This creates an exclusive type environment, where those that are already capable do just fine, and those that are not get left behind, frustrated and wishing someone would tell them HOW to take the next step in their practice.

WHAT LEVEL WILL I BE AFTER COMPLETING CHROMATIC GLOBAL TRAINING?

1. If you are not yet a certified Chromatic Teacher: Upon completion of the online pre-training and the in person Chromatic Global Training you will become a Chromatic Certified Teacher enabling you to teach Chromatic classes, workshops and intensive weekends.
2. If you are already a Chromatic Certified Teacher or above: Upon completion of both the pre-training and in person event you will attain hours toward your next level ie. Specialist, Leader or Educator.
