    Depuis plusieurs mois je pratique les immersions avec Matt . Et j’ai découvert une pratique extrêmement précise et novatrice.
    D’un point de vue biomécanique , mental , spirituel , tout est extrêmement professionnel et est le fruit d’un énorme travail aussi bien personnel qu’avec l’aide de chercheurs de toutes disciplines.
    Vous découvrez de nouvelles sensations mêmes dans les postures les plus courantes et ce travail que vous êtes amené à approfondir vous fait , à son tour, découvrir de nouveaux horizons jusqu’alors jugés comme innatteignables.
    Les asanas ne sont plus décrits comme un cadre d’acier inamovible mais comme le moyen d’une prise de conscience de tous les recoins de votre corps avec un travail sur tous les muscles même et surtout ceux que vous oubliez.
    Le travail par internet est très bien organisé.Matt parle un américain très facile à comprendre (même pour un anglais) . L’accès aux différentes classes est définitif, vous pouvez y retourner quand vous voulez.
    Bref je conseil vivement , à minima un essai.
    Petit détail.les tarifs sont en $ ce qui fait un peu moins en € .

    Titulaire 200h , pratiquant essentiellement à Bordeaux, Paris depuis plusieurs années, ainsi qu’en Europe j’ai rarement été aussi enthousiasmé .

    This is my 5th Immersion session with Matt.

    Spinal movements are needed to do heart openers, forward folds, side bends and side twists, therefore this is a critical practice session not to be missed.

    I am not good at engaging my back muscles thus they are weak.I used to have problem doing chair pose.After Matt’s steps by steps guidance, I am now able to do a perfect chair pose, with hip flexion activated, spine forward, chest up, shoulder back, head up and ultimately lower back engaged plus sit low.

    I have learned to do a perfect side bend by first activate the lateral flexion of spine, which prior to this immersion, I used to do side bend by just literally using the gravity pull to shape the pose

    Also learned how to deepen my forward fall by first activate the hip flexion, follow by core activation to create spinal flexion, instead of just using gravity to fall forward.

    With Matt’s steps by steps guidance on how to properly rotate the spine, I can now deepen my side twists.

    This immersion definitely helps with acceleration of Yoga practice by perfecting poses effectively.

My experience with Matt is been so far great and I have to say that he, being a world class yoga instructor, offers excellent value for money and most importantly life time access to the contents..which goes far beyond price!

    Spinal Awakening is my fifth and my favorite immersion. For the very first time I was able to practice the Camel Pose without having problems in my lower back afterwards. Thanks to this great and precise guide from Matt. I am so happy now. And I can see where the problem was.
    We also learned how to breathe in backbends, which is very helpful.
    I have gained more mobility in the middle chest and feel more free, which also affects my breathing.
    I was also able to definitely improve my forward bends.
    This immersion has given me so much!

With 12 livestream online yoga classes focused on providing you with both knowledge and actionable steps, this immersion is truly a must-have! Together we will practice 4 days a week, with a live chat to ask all your questions, a dedicated private Facebook group to connect with our global community of yogis. Can’t practice at the live times? NO problem, you get lifetime, anytime, anywhere access. After the class goes live, you will be able to tune in and watch as much as you would like!

FAQs

HOW DOES IT WORK?

When you sign up for the immersion, you will gain access to an exclusive members area of theyogimatt.com. When you are logged in, you will have access and be able to watch the livestream that day and any previously aired livestreams from that month.

ARE THERE RECURRING PAYMENTS?

NO. You are paying for access to one month of classes; after that, you will be provided a discounted rate should you want to continue practicing regularly. You will NOT be automatically billed. THIS IS A 1-TIME PAYMENT that gives you access to the classes in the respective month that you purchase.

WHAT ARE THE LIVE TIMES?

While it’s not mandatory to practice live, the live times are as follows: Tuesday and Thursday at 12pm, and Saturdays at 10am Eastern Time — this is the same time zone as NYC, so you can do a Google search to see what time it is for you. If you are purchasing the immersion AFTER it has gone live, then you may practice on your own time at your convenience.

WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE THE LIVE TIME?

NO PROBLEM AT ALL! The immersion consists of yogis worldwide in various time zones. This is why you have LIFETIME and UNLIMITED access. You can practice when it is convenient for you. You will receive emails throughout the week to keep you on track and keep you inspired to practice. There is a Facebook group where you will hear from other members, be able to ask questions, and stay connected. The emails from both me and the group will keep you committed to your practice, even if you cannot practice live.

All Livestream Immersions are lifetime, anytime accessible after the livestream goes live.

 

IS THIS TOO ADVANCED FOR ME?

Matt specializes in teaching ALL levels of yoga practices, providing modifications and options throughout each class. These immersions are suitable for anyone with 1-3 months yoga practice or more. You do not need to have a regular practice, nor do you need to be flexible or strong. First-time yogis are welcomed so long as you have no major injuries. Each class focuses on a different yoga pose in order to gain a greater understanding of our body within the asana practice.
