Not only did I increase body awareness, the cues Matt gives for some very challenging postures are incredibly insightful and make the postures more accessible.     This was my first immersion and I was very impressed! Poses I thought would be unattainable were actually accessible due to Matt breaking down the poses into their component parts. This really helped me identify the areas I needed to work on to attain the pose. Over the course of the month, I felt that I was progressing and felt my strength increase. I love that I have this course for life so that I can revisit the lessons. I enjoyed the interaction live – Matt is such a down-to-earth guy and answered all questions here. I also enjoyed the Facebook community where I could “meet” the other students and we could cheer each other on. The support here was really helpful. I love the non-competitive environment, and felt comfortable posting a video even though I may not have necessarily done the full version of the pose. I love how Matt communicates – his detailed cues are precise, he provides exercises to strengthen & engage required musculature, offers alternate approaches into an asana making them more accessible than I thought possible.     I had been craving something different in addition to my regular practice & had been thinking about this. I am so glad that I did!     I am a yoga teacher since 2014 and have attended many workshops after my first training. My big dream is handstand free in space. This workshop has given me many fundamentally important alignment tips. Matt explains wonderfully understandable, although my English is not so good, I could follow him really well. Above all, he can explain a lot about the interaction of individual muscles, tendons and joints, so that there was really often an AHA effect with me. Also, there are always some funky transitions that I love and 2 asanas that I had never been able to do before, I can do now, miraculously: Grasshopper and Peacock. Thanks Matt – this is not the last workshop.?

HOW DOES IT WORK?

When you sign up for the immersion, you will gain access to an exclusive members area of theyogimatt.com. When you are logged in, you will have access and be able to watch the livestream that day and any previously aired livestreams from that month.

ARE THERE RECURRING PAYMENTS?

NO. You are paying for access to 1 month of classes, and after that you will be provided a discounted rate should you want to continue practicing regularly. You will NOT be automatically billed. THIS IS A ONE TIME PAYMENT that gives you access to the classes in the respective month that you purchase.

WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE THE LIVE TIME?

NO PROBLEM AT ALL! The Immersion consists of yogis worldwide in various time zones. This is why you have LIFETIME and UNLIMITED access. You can practice when it is convenient for you. You will receive emails throughout the week to keep you on track and keep you inspired to practice. There is a Facebook group where you will hear from other members, be able to ask questions and stay connected. The emails from me and from the group will keep you committed to your practice, even if you cannot practice live.

All Livestream Immersions are lifetime, anytime accessible after the livestream goes live.

 

IS THIS TOO ADVANCED FOR ME?

Matt specializes in teaching ALL levels yoga practices, providing modifications and options throughout each class. These immersions are suitable for anyone with as little as 1-3 months yoga practice. You do not need to have a regular practice, nor do you need to be flexible or strong. First-time yogis are welcomed so long as you have no major injuries. Each class focuses on a different yoga pose in order to gain a greater understanding of our body within the asana practice.
